Alicia is the founder of Fridge to Future. With a focus on using artificial intelligence to address critical environmental challenges, Alicia is particularly passionate about combating food waste. She combines her technological expertise with a deep commitment to sustainability and social impact. In addition to her academic and advocacy work, Alicia is an accomplished musician, having played the violin for twelve years and performing both as a soloist and in choirs.
Nick has spent 30+ years in education as a teacher, coach and Head of School, preceded by his working on Wall St. for five years. He strongly believes that the creative potential of today’s youth serves as the key to solving the wide range of challenges before us, and enjoys being a collaborative supporter whenever possible!
Professor Chen is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at Northwestern University. He won the Most Influential Paper award of ASPLOS in 2018 and his paper has been cited about 17,000 times. Professor Chen guides the software development of our team.
Angela Zhang, senior software engineer in American Express , graduated from University of California, San Diego in Math & Computer Science. Angela has done extensive community project, using technology to promote green economy, winning the U.S Presidential Scholar Award in 2015

An avid chess player who enjoys strategic challenges, Jiali also finds energy and balance through tennis and swimming.
Emily is a junior at Northwestern University who believes small actions can spark big change. When she’s not diving into environmental work, you can probably find her shooting hoops, playing soccer, or exploring Chicago’s best dumpling spots.
Victor is a 18-year-old environmental advocate, researcher, and writer from Crescent School. His research on renewable energy and sustainability earned him regional and national awards at the Numerous Science Fair

Kaylynn is a passionate environmental advocate studying in Singapore. She has spent a lot of time organizing upcycling workshops and community projects addressing Singapore’s waste landscape.
Katie lives in Menlo Park, CA. She likes math, science and reading at school but also participated in swimming and volleyball competitively since she was 7 years old. In addition, Katie plays basketball, lacross and golf on the side as well
